The short version
We started because good software kept dying in handover
DOTFY began as a four-person team fixing systems other agencies had walked away from. The pattern was always the same: a decent build, no ownership, and a client left holding a codebase nobody would touch.
So we built the company backwards from that failure. Senior engineers stay on the account. The architect who designs it is the person who defends it in the security review. Documentation and IP transfer are contractual, not a favour.
Seventeen years later we run production systems for manufacturers, hospital groups, NBFCs, retail chains and hospitality groups across India and the GCC — and most of our new work still comes from a client telling somebody else about us.
